Antifoam

Antifoam is a concentrated defoaming additive made to control the foam that builds up inside cleaning machine recovery tanks. It’s particularly useful with carpet extractors, automatic floor scrubbers and wet vacuums, where too much foam can quickly eat into the tank’s usable capacity.

As foam builds, you can end up stopping more often to empty a tank that isn’t actually full of recovered liquid. Antifoam breaks those bubbles down quickly, helping you get more use from the tank and keep the job moving. It also helps reduce the risk of foam rising far enough to reach the vacuum motor.

The formula is silicone based and highly concentrated. In most cases, only a small amount is needed in the recovery tank, so one container can last through plenty of cleaning jobs. It can be used wherever detergent foam is becoming a problem rather than as a cleaning chemical on the surface itself.

At About Clean, we supply Antifoam for carpet, floor and wet extraction machines where controlling recovery-tank foam makes the job easier.
