Amsolve

Amsolve is a heavy-duty carpet stain remover made for spots that general carpet cleaners can struggle to shift. It’s particularly useful on stains from orange juice, soft drinks, wine, blood and protein-based foods such as milk, egg, ice cream and chocolate.

The formula combines ammonia with detergents, builders and sequestering agents to break down acidic and protein-based soils within the carpet fibres. That makes it a useful product to have on hand when a spill has gone beyond a quick surface clean and needs something with a bit more cleaning power behind it.

Amsolve can also be used to bring heavily traffic-soiled synthetic carpets back up to a cleaner standard. Think office walkways, entry areas or other sections of carpet that gradually become dull and grubby from repeated foot traffic. In those areas, you might find a targeted treatment gives a better result than simply going over the carpet again with a general cleaner.

The formula is biodegradable and is designed mainly for synthetic carpet fibres, so it’s worth checking the carpet type and following the recommended directions before treating an unfamiliar surface.

At About Clean, we supply Amsolve alongside the carpet cleaning chemicals and equipment we use and recommend for tougher stain-removal jobs.
